I fly a number of aircraft and it would be really helpful to include the aircraft type / registration in the logs if possible

S‌uspect I'm not alone here!‌

You can add any textual information you like to a flight log once the flight is completed.

We briefly experimented with having SkyDemon automatically populate that with the registration of the aircraft profile in use, but it turns out people often fly with the wrong aircraft profile loaded so we concluded that to automatically populate it wasn't a good idea.

Ok, thanks. Doesn't that suggest though that maybe there should be an option to confirm the aircraft when "Go Flying" is pressed? Else the timings / fuel calcs etc on the PLOG could be wrong etc which potentially introduces a safety issue.

Prompts just irritate people. The situation where someone is going flying with an "incorrect" aircraft profile selected is usually a selection where a flight hasn't been planned per se, they're just going flying and using SkyDemon for tactical avoidance of hazards. A very common usage of SkyDemon, and one where obviously we don't want to be attaching information to the flight log which isn't actually correct.
